All our labels are made with a soft and flexible plastic which will not cause any irritation or discomfort when items are worn. Thanks to the unique adhesive and finish they will also stay put through repeat cycles in the washing machine and the tumble-dryer!

About Us

Label Planet is a family owned business that was founded in 2003. Currently working from a leafy business park in Nantwich, Cheshire, we supply easy to use name label solutions to help busy families get all of their belongings quickly and securely labelled.

Stikins ® were developed with busy families in mind; while traditional name labels take up precious time with sewing and ironing, our name labels offer a quick and simple solution to the problem of lost property. These labels simply peel off their backing sheet and stick onto the wash-care label of clothing or directly onto important (and often expensive) personal items to make sure that if these items go missing they are easy to return.

In 2004, we launched our original “H" shaped STIKINS ® and we've constantly reviewed and improved our products over the years - taking advantage of developments in materials and manufacturing - to make sure they are always the best they can possibly be.

We introduced brand new STIKINS ® name labels in 2010, followed by an improved sun cream resistant version in 2013.
In 2014, we introduced TRONS ® name transfers as a brand new solution to labelling fabric items and in 2015 we launched a range of silver name labels to give our customers a more decorative way to label all kinds of personal items.

We welcome feedback from customers to help us to update and improve our products and services, and we've also partnered with hundreds of shools, PTAs, pre-schools and playgroups, nursing homes, and activity groups across the UK as part of our Fundraising Project.

Our Name Labels

Stikins ® are a simple multipurpose name label solution that can be used to label clothing and all kinds of personal items.

They can be applied onto the wash-care label of clothing and fabric items or can be applied directly onto personal items, such as bags and shoes, lunch boxes and water bottles, stationery and books, mobiles and tablets, and school equipment.

Our name labels have been tested by an independent laboratory using the BS EN ISO6330 wash test procedure for 30 washes at 40 degrees, and can be put through washing machines and tumble driers, as well as microwaves and dishwashers.

Each name label measures 30mm wide by 15mm high and is printed in a bold black font to ensure that these labels are both easy to read (when they are needed) and completely discrete (when they are not needed).
